The Standard Actuator is Chinese made as all the other competition on the market today!
The HSA - High Security Actuator is made in the USA and has been tested to 180,000 cycles without a failure. It has a spring detent to do away with actuator bounce.
It can operate in temperatures of +130 to -30 degrees.
All Standard Actuator models are available for a High Security Actuator upgrade.

SUGGESTION!
For longer life of the acuator, we recommend that you connect the actuator into the passenger-side wiring to avoid cycling the actuator every time the driver door is locked or unlocked. Then it would be a single click for cab entry, then double click to unlock the tailgate and/or cover lock.
